The West Central Toward Zero Deaths program is new as of 2012. The counties that make up West Central TZD are Becker, Clay, Douglas, Grant, Mahnomen, Otter Tail, Pope, Stevens, Traverse, and Wilkin.
Following guidance from state health officials and the CDC to prevent further spread of COVID-19, Minnesota TZD has canceled the 2020 workshop.
The West Central Minnesota seat belt compliance rate was observed at 73.1 percent in April 2014, making it a regional priority to increase seat belt usage.
