2020 Minnesota TZD Webinar Series

The 17th Annual Minnesota TZD Statewide Conference that was scheduled during October in Duluth has been modified to a virtual format due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Minnesota TZD is taking this opportunity to engage with our partners and disseminate current information in a new way. And it’s all free!

The 2020 Minnesota TZD Webinar Series will kick off on the originally scheduled conference date, Tuesday, October 20, with additional webinars following over the next few weeks. The webinars will highlight the latest trends and traffic safety initiatives with expert guests sharing a cross-section of topics from all four Es.

The webinars are free to attend, but registration will be required to receive access to the live broadcasts. All webinars (except for the November 10 event) will also be recorded for future viewing.

The webinars are free to attend, but registration is required to receive access to the live broadcasts. You must register separately for each webinar you wish to attend. To register, please visit your desired webinar page and click on the registration link.

Attendance at each live broadcast is limited to the first 1,000 registrants per webinar, so early registration is encouraged.

Credit

Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits, CPS Continuing Education Units (CEUs), EMS CEUs, POST credits, and Professional Development Hours (PDHs) will be available for qualified webinars. More information will be available soon.

POST Credit Details

To be eligible for POST credits you must:

• Provide your POST license number at registration (not badge number).
• Watch the entire live webinar; no partial viewing will be accepted.
• If you watch the live webinar with a group of individuals, viewers not signed on with their own email will need to submit an Affidavit of Attendance to tzd@umn.edu by March 31, 2021.
• POST credits will be available for viewing recorded webinars until March 31, 2021. Viewers will need to submit an Affidavit of Attendance to tzd@umn.edu by this deadline.
• Affidavit of Attendance forms for each event will be posted on the individual webinar pages.
