Southwest TZD includes the counties of Big Stone, Chippewa, Kandiyohi, Lac qui Parle, Lincoln, Lyon, McLeod, Meeker, Murray, Pipestone, Redwood, Renville, Swift, and Yellow Medicine.

Annual Workshop
Following guidance from state health officials and the CDC to prevent further spread of COVID-19, Minnesota TZD has canceled the 2020 workshop.
Regional Seat Belt Data
The SW Minnesota regional seat belt usage in 2017 was 83.6 percent. This is a slight increase from the 2016 rate of 82.8 percent.
