Webinar Instructions
Check your software
Prior to the event, check that you have the correct software. It is recommended that you check your software as soon as possible. (Some employers do not allow the installation of software without approval of the IT administrator.)
Go to the TZD webinar page at https://umconnect.umn.edu/tzdbreakfast/
Check the "Enter as guest" box, and type your name where indicated.
Click "Enter Room."
If a blank presentation appears, your software is up-to-date and you will be able to view the presentation.
If you are informed that Flash Player 8.0.0.0 or higher is required, you will need to download and install Flash Player before you can view the webinar. The latest version of Flash Player can be found at http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer.
Connect to the live webinar
On the date of the event, you may log into the TZD webinar page up to 15 minutes before the start of the event.
The webinar will begin automatically at the designated time.
Some notes:
- While you will be able to hear the seminar speaker(s), they will not be able to hear you.
- In the lower left corner of the presentation, there is a chat menu, where you can submit questions to the presenter.
